Spinning

Andrew Sapienza collaborates with Chloe Byrne as they exercise ekphrasis in, "Spinning", inspired by a written letter to Thomas Edison regarding his invention of the phonograph in 1877. To begin this series of mixed-media art, Chloe began by recording her original music and lyrics. Sculptural pieces were created to further the theme that would eventually synthesize in the video (below).
